Doctor's Biography

Dr. Carlos Wilson trained at the University of the West Indies, completing a M.B.B.S. Degree in 1999 and a Post-Graduate Degree in Surgery in 2008. He then completed subspecialty training in Laparoscopic Surgery in Curaçao in 2014.

Dr. Wilson currently serves as the Senior Medical Officer / Consultant General Surgeon at the Percy Junor Hospital, being in that position since 2011. He serves as an Examiner on the Caribbean Association of Medical Council's (Surgery) Board Examinations from 2010 - present and is the Training/Education Officer for Caribbean Society of Endocopic Surgeons (CaSES). Dr. Wilson has over 10 research articles published in peer reviewed scientific journals. His achievements have also been recognized internationally when he was elected as Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) in 2022.
